Mark-Making

My main objective of this project was to make it look accurate to the original picture. I primarily used the paint tool and the selection tool. I also used levels to adjust the colors of the words. It was difficult making the features of the face stand out against each other. I made 4 different brushes, by typing in words, selecting those words and choosing define brush preset. My words were Friends, Laugh, Art, and Pisces. In order to contrast the values, I added layers over the original levels and used levels to make the words slightly lighter, so that they stood out but still matched the differing values.
